Get ready for a day of live music\, free yoga sessions\, henna designs\, local food\, trail talks\, DIY tie dye\, tarot reading\, outdoor vendors showcasing their wares\, and more! Hiker Fest definitely has something for everyone. We also offer exclusive discounts for Appalachian Trail thru hikers and a complimentary breakfast for anyone with their AT hangtag. Join us as we come together to celebrate nature\, music\, and the joy of exploration at Hiker Fest! Admission is FREE! Bring your 2025 thru hangtag for free breakfast and LOTS of deals from vendors!\nFree breakfast for hikers at the Russell Museum 9 – 11:00 a.m. Two free yoga practices throughout the day. \nHiker Fest Kick Off Party Friday\, June 6\, 2025\nAT Thru Hikers! This is for you! Start the Hiker Fest weekend off with some Trail Magic at Rockfish Gap when you hop off the trail. Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association and Waynesboro Tourism will be hosting a hiker feed from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm. We’ll also be running shuttles down the mountain and into Waynesboro all day. Live music at Delly Up starts at 5 pm with Jess and Casey Show and the Alex Arbaugh Trio plays from 7-9pm. Hikers can also enjoy free camping downtown.
