DESCRIPTION:The first Science Talk of the 2026-27 Season will be presented on Tuesday\, September 8th\, at 7 PM at the Wayne Theatre by Caty McVicker\, a Wildlife Biologist with Quail Forever. Since the 1960s\, Northern bobwhite populations in Virginia have been in steep decline. Caty’s presentation will cover the natural lifecycle and habitat requirements of northern bobwhite\, and then discuss ways to help improve habitat in order to restore bobwhite and other grassland bird populations. \n \nThe presentation will be livestreamed from the Wayne Theatre and Virginia Museum of Natural History Facebook pages.
