RCRA Corrective Action Program Update — Former DuPont Waynesboro Plant (October 24, 2012)

This slide presentation (Oct 24, 2012) summarizes RCRA corrective actions at the former DuPont Waynesboro plant, including a 2009 RCRA Facility Investigation (report revised Aug 2012), sewer investigation and interim measures. Work removed ~521 kg of mercury from sewers; supplemental drilling showed mercury is not accumulating or migrating. Ongoing monitoring and a streamlined Corrective Measures Study (CMS) are planned, with soil, groundwater, and sewer remedy options.
