Slide presentation reporting close-interval surface-water sampling along the South River (Jan–May 2005). Dissolved total mercury (THg) and methylmercury (MeHg) were sampled at 500–4000 ft intervals from the Plant to Port Republic with focus near Hopeman Parkway/Genicom. Results show a gradual downstream rise in THg/MeHg and strong seasonal increases in MeHg; a suspected local THg input near Hopeman–Genicom was not reproduced.
