Serving Waynesboro, Augusta County & the Shenandoah Valley

Slide presentation describing development and laboratory testing of diffusive gradient in thin film (DGT) probes to measure porewater mercury and methylmercury. Tests used a thiol-functionalized (3-M) resin, showed ~92% sorption and ~96.5% extraction efficiency, linear uptake consistent with diffusion, promising MeHg detection, and planned field deployment to South River (June 2010).

Review Notes : The deck appears to be a standalone presentation (no explicit meeting header). No explicit publication or presentation date is shown; slides mention a planned field deployment in June 2010. The filename on the source site includes 'srst' but the PDF itself does not identify a South River Science Team meeting.
