Serving Waynesboro, Augusta County & the Shenandoah Valley

This slide presentation reviews ecological monitoring data collected March–May 2006, analyzing correlations of mercury (Hg) and methylmercury (MHg) across sediment, surface water, plants, and animals. It reports strong positive correlations among most biota (May only), algae as an outlier, relationships between Hg/MHg and other metals/TSS, and limited replication at select RRM stations.

Review Notes : Title, date (August 28, 2006), and author (John W. Green) are taken from the slide deck. Species correlations are reported for May only; other analyte sampling appears limited to specific RRM locations (0.6, 3, 8.7, 26). No explicit venue or publisher is shown in the PDF.
