Slide presentation reporting mercury (Hg) bioaccumulation in South River amphibians. Species- and life-stage-specific patterns were observed (notably high THg in Eurycea bislineata and Bufo tadpoles). Salamander tail tissue and toad blood provide reliable nonlethal exposure indices. Females transfer ≈5% of body THg to eggs, and higher maternal/egg Hg is negatively correlated with hatching success.
