Serving Waynesboro, Augusta County & the Shenandoah Valley

Presentation describing a refined conceptual system model (CSM) for the South River to characterize mercury sources, migration pathways, and exposure risks. Hydroqual was contracted to perform mass-balance and hydrodynamic analyses using an in-development GIS database, identify data gaps, and support future numerical modeling and TMDL development, in collaboration with the Science Team and Expert Panel.

Review Notes : The document header reads 'South River Conceptual System Model Refinement 2Q 2005' but also references the South River Science Team meeting on Nov 9–10, 2004. I used the November 2004 meeting date for cataloging; the '2Q 2005' text appears to indicate a target timeframe for the refinement rather than the document date.
