Serving Waynesboro, Augusta County & the Shenandoah Valley

Presentation describing an optically-based pilot study to develop near–real-time correlations between optical sensor data and total and methyl mercury in South River water. Plan calls for one-month in situ deployments (data every 15–60 minutes), discrete water sampling, and development of statistical models using CDOM, chlorophyll, turbidity/TSS, particle size, velocity, and multiparameter sonde data.
